About Us
Learn more about IAM
Indigenous Access Media is a member-owned and -operated cooperative formally founded in 2020 who are also members of First Nation Communities.
I AM adheres to free speech principles and federal communication guidelines, allowing for a genuinely open forum for a broad array of self-expressive forms.
I AM content will be exclusively available on the I AM website on-demand to anyone with internet access and will not be shared or sold from the I AM website. I AM will provide a public, online commons for Indigenous artists and other creative messaging to stream relevant topics, including video art, explorations of creative processes, issues related to local social problems, practical skill-sharing, community problem-solving and other public conversations.
By using an internal membership process, I AM acts as a sustainable community media hub while also helping community members share their creative video content produced according to federal communications and copyright law.
